Reiki is a Japanese vibrational energy therapy facilitated by light touch, on or slightly off the body (and remotely from a distance), that balances the human bio-field (electro-magnetic living field). It is a gentle, non invasive healing modality that works to balance the energies of the mind, body and spirit in an effort to achieve inner and outer well being. Reiki is to be used as a complimentary form of healing in addition to traditional medical and psychiatric care and is offered by hundreds of hospitals, medical centers and clinics across the nation.

Reiki is most effective when received on a regular basis. At LAX Reiki, four types of Reiki treatments are offered: In Person Reiki, Distance Reiki, Animal Reiki and Corporate Reiki Clinics. Please see detailed descriptions of each Reiki treatment below.
Clinical Reiki
Clinical Reiki is performed on a massage table while the patient is fully clothed. An eye pillow will be placed over your eyes for optimal relaxation. Our approach to Reiki treatment includes both hands on - light touch - and hands off with hands hovering 2 - 4 inches over the body. Reiki is performed on the top side of the body only. You will not be asked to turn over. This method helps to ensure total relaxation by not having to wake up fully to turn over. In Person Reiki usually lasts about an hour..
What to expect: Just as with all Reiki treatments, you may have feelings of total relaxation, inner peace, warmth or tingling or you may even fall asleep due to the profound healing taking place. Distance Reiki Worldwide
Reiki is not bound by time or space. That is why Reiki is just as effective from a distance as it is in person. Distance Reiki involves the transfer of Reiki energy to balance the mind, body and spirit of the recipient. Most distance Reiki sessions are about an hour long and can be provided to anyone, anywhere on Earth. One advantage of distance Reiki is that the recipient is able to receive Reiki in the comfort of their own home or wherever they may be. Just turn off your phone, make yourself comfortable and let the healing begin.

Corporate Reiki Clinics
Reiki is an excellent way to reduce stress and to manage future stress. Reiki benefits CEOs and employees alike and works for the highest good of the recipient. Our Corporate Reiki Clinics are designed to be a mobile Reiki clinic that provides stress reduction and relaxation at your place of business.
By providing Reiki to your employees, you will see a noticeable improvement in stress levels and production. Regular sessions are necessary to maintain the optimal benefits that Reiki provides. We offer various packages to meet the unique needs of each business and/or corporation.

Animal Reiki
Animal Reiki can be provided as Distance Reiki and In Person Reiki. In Person Animal Reiki is only available for animals located in the Los Angeles area. Distance Reiki is available to animals anywhere on the Earth. Since Reiki is not bound by time or space, distance treatments are just as effective as In Person treatments. Please note that all animals are given the choice of hands on or hands off treatments if an In Person treatment is chosen. The treatment option that the animal chooses will be honored. In many cases, animals choose both hands on and hands off during their sessions.
What to expect: Animals are very receptive to Reiki, You may notice that your pet is more calm and relaxed during and after a Reiki session. Many pets show an improved demeanor and a reduction in lethargy in older pets. As with Reiki for humans, regular Reiki treatments for animals provides better outcomes.
